Uses

Cova 80mg is used for:

• High blood pressure (hypertension)
• Heart failure

Dosage

For high blood pressure, the usual adult dose is 80–160 mg once daily, up to 320 mg. For heart failure, doctors start at 40 mg twice daily and increase gradually to 160 mg twice daily. After a heart attack, the dose is built up from 20 mg twice daily to 160 mg twice daily.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, at the same time each day.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.
