Uses

Cytopan-50 50mg/200mcg is used for:

• Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people at risk of NSAID-related stomach ulcers

Dosage

Diclofenac 50 mg/misoprostol 200 mcg: usually one tablet two or three times daily with food. Diclofenac 75 mg/misoprostol 200 mcg: usually one tablet twice daily with food. Do not exceed 150 mg of diclofenac a day.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet whole with food; do not chew or crush.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

When Not to Use

• Active stomach ulcer or bleeding
• Severe heart failure, heart disease or previous stroke
• Severe kidney or liver disease
