Uses

Brino 500mg is used for:

• Heavy menstrual bleeding

Dosage

Heavy periods: 1 g three times daily for up to 4 days from the start of bleeding. Other uses: usually 1–1.5 g two or three times daily, as directed by your doctor.

How to Use

Swallow the capsule with water, with or without food.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

• Active blood clots (DVT, pulmonary embolism) or a history of clots
• Severe kidney disease
• History of seizures
• Allergy to tranexamic acid
