Uses

Levo 500mg is used for:

• Community-acquired pneumonia and other chest infections

Dosage

Adults usually take 250–750 mg once daily for 5–14 days depending on the infection. The dose is lowered in kidney disease.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water once a day, with or without food. Keep 2 hours apart from antacids, iron or zinc.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.

Overdose

• Allergy to any quinolone antibiotic
