Uses

Limigzol 2.5mg is used for:

• Acute migraine attacks, with or without aura, in adults

Dosage

The usual dose is one 2.5 mg tablet at the start of a migraine headache. If the headache comes back, a second dose can be taken at least 2 hours after the first. Do not take more than 10 mg in 24 hours. If the first dose does not help at all, do not take a second dose for the same attack.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water as soon as the headache begins. It works best when taken early in an attack, but not during the aura phase before the headache.

Missed Dose

Zolmitriptan is taken only when a migraine occurs, so there is no regular schedule to miss.

Overdose

An overdose can cause drowsiness, high blood pressure or chest tightness. Seek medical help immediately.
