Uses

Ramipace 10mg is used for:

• High blood pressure
• Heart failure, including after a heart attack
• Lowering cardiovascular risk in people with heart disease, stroke or diabetes with other risk factors
• Kidney disease, including diabetic kidney disease

Dosage

High blood pressure: usually 2.5 mg once daily, increased to 5–10 mg daily. Cardiovascular risk: 2.5 mg daily, increased to 10 mg daily. Heart failure: 1.25–2.5 mg daily, increased gradually.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water once a day, with or without food.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

When Not to Use

• History of angioedema
• Pregnancy
• Use with sacubitril/valsartan within 36 hours
• Use with aliskiren in diabetes
