Uses

Ryvaq 10mg/ml is used for:

• Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adults
• Pulmonary arterial hypertension in children aged 1–17 years, under specialist care

Dosage

Adults usually take 20 mg three times daily. Children 1–17 years weighing 20 kg or less usually take 10 mg three times daily, and those over 20 kg take 20 mg three times daily, as prescribed by the specialist.

How to Use

Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure the dose with the oral syringe supplied. Give it three times daily, about 6–8 hours apart, with or without food.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

An overdose may cause headache, flushing, dizziness, low blood pressure and vision changes. Seek medical help.

When Not to Use

• Taking nitrates (such as glyceryl trinitrate) or riociguat
• Recent stroke or heart attack, or very low blood pressure
• Loss of vision from optic nerve damage (NAION)
• Allergy to sildenafil
