Uses

Thiolax 4mg is used for:

• Painful muscle spasm, such as acute back pain or a stiff neck, as short-term add-on therapy in adults and teenagers aged 16 and above

Dosage

The usual dose is 8 mg (two 4 mg capsules) every 12 hours, and the maximum is 16 mg per day. Treatment should not continue for more than 7 days in a row.

How to Use

Swallow the capsules with water, with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose or the 7-day limit.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

Taking more than the recommended dose may cause diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Seek medical advice.
