Zepres 5mg is used for:

• High blood pressure (hypertension)

Dosage

High blood pressure: usually 5–20 mg once daily, up to 40 mg in one or two doses. Heart failure: start at 2.5 mg daily and increase slowly to 10–20 mg twice daily.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, at the same time each day.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

• Allergy to enalapril or other ACE inhibitors
• History of angioedema (swelling of face, lips or throat)
• Pregnancy
• Use with sacubitril/valsartan within 36 hours
• Use with aliskiren in diabetes

• Potassium supplements, salt substitutes and potassium-sparing diuretics can raise potassium levels
• NSAID painkillers such as ibuprofen can reduce the effect and affect the kidneys
• Lithium levels can rise
• Aliskiren should not be combined in people with diabetes or kidney problems
• Sacubitril/valsartan must not be combined
