Uses

Diatazox 100mg/5ml is used for:

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and above: 500 mg twice daily for 3 days. Children 4–11 years: 200 mg (10 ml suspension) twice daily; children 1–3 years: 100 mg (5 ml) twice daily, for 3 days.

How to Use

Shake the bottle well and measure each dose with the cup or oral syringe supplied, not a household spoon. Take with food, every 12 hours.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.
