Uses

Rimsid 100mg is used for:

• Acute pain such as dental, muscle and joint pain
• Painful periods

Dosage

The usual adult dose is 100 mg twice daily after meals, for no more than 15 days. It must not be given to children under 12.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet whole with water during or after food. Do not crush or chew enteric-coated or SR tablets.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

If you take too much, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

When Not to Use

• Active stomach ulcer or bleeding
• Severe heart failure, heart disease or previous stroke
• Severe kidney or liver disease
• Allergy or asthma attacks triggered by aspirin or other NSAIDs

• Children under 12 years
