Uses

Clopid 75mg is used for:

• After a heart attack, stroke or diagnosed peripheral arterial disease, to lower the risk of further events

Dosage

The usual dose is 75 mg once daily. In acute coronary syndrome, a 300–600 mg loading dose is given first, then 75 mg daily with aspirin.

How to Use

Swallow the tablet with water once a day, with or without food.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose when you remember. If the next dose is due soon, skip the missed one. Do not take a double dose.

Overdose

An overdose increases bleeding risk. Seek emergency medical help.

When Not to Use

• Active bleeding such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding in the brain
• Severe liver disease
• Allergy to clopidogrel
